School’s Out!
At The Moira Fund, we’re acutely aware that for many victims’ families, the summer holidays can be an especially difficult time—often without the opportunity for a much-needed break.
This year, we’re proud to have supported 31 families in enjoying a special day out of their choosing, offering a moment of respite and joy amidst incredibly challenging circumstances.
In total, this support reached 132 family members, including 69 children—making memories that truly matter.

Our annual fete on The Green was again a wonderful success with a big turn out and the rain held off in spite of the forecast.

Hubert (Hu) Jones

Hu died suddenly on 16th April aged 85. He was a devoted husband of Bea, a loving father to Grant and the late Moira, and father-in-law to Sharon and a full member of the wider family both north and south of the border.
