Donna and Steve arrived back to Weston Village Green at 9.00pm on Saturday night to a big crowd of cheering supporters, family and friends and balloons, banners and flowers.
They certainly deserved that after a 6.00am start the day before, and cycling 296 miles from Queen’s Park, Glasgow in sun, rain, wind and even a hailstorm. Their amazing efforts have raised over £7000 for The Moira Fund which is a magnificent sum and will allow us to help many families. They certainly raised our profile too as their event was featured on STV and Midlands Today, Radio Clyde, Radio Stoke and Stafford FM, The Evening Times, Express and Star and Staffordshire Newsletter. We think they are both wonderful.
