Simply provide vouchers
George’s mum and dad were devastated by the murder of their son in January.
Dad was an ambulance driver for the NHS but because mum is almost housebound with many health issues and is considered extremely vulnerable, he has not been allowed back to work since March. Now, many months later, there is talk of his already reduced salary being cut altogether. And, broken-hearted, they are now struggling financially as well, and are hugely stressed.
We were asked if we could simply provide vouchers, universal ones, which will allow them to keep essentials topped up, to visit the pharmacy, to replace broken or worn out necessities … to relieve just a little the stress they are experiencing day by day. That seemed the least we could do.

Hu died suddenly on 16th April aged 85. He was a devoted husband of Bea, a loving father to Grant and the late Moira, and father-in-law to Sharon and a full member of the wider family both north and south of the border.
