A NEW START
When Alice's younger brother was murdered...
she felt totally unable to function and move on without him - he was a very caring young man and her best friend.
She managed to get a house swap from Bristol, where they lived, to London where her terminally-ill mother lives. However the flat was in a very poor state. The Moira Fund gave her B&Q vouchers so she could redecorate and choose new curtains and bedding, make it habitable for her and her two small children.
She said, " I send a big thank you from my family to yours for the help from The Moira Fund which will go a long way to help me and my family start a new life in a different location."

Hubert (Hu) Jones

Hu died suddenly on 16th April aged 85. He was a devoted husband of Bea, a loving father to Grant and the late Moira, and father-in-law to Sharon and a full member of the wider family both north and south of the border.
