and I am the mother of George, a loving son, partner and wonderful father of four who was murdered by a gang last year on his daughters birthday after helping a homeless man outside his home with food from the party. My Homicide worker from the Victim Support team contacted you to see if you could help with a holiday for my grandchildren.
I cannot express my gratitude enough and I thank you with all my heart as it has been the worst year of our lives and we all need to spend some quality time with the children as they surely have not had any of it last year.
Attached is a photo of George with his fiancée and their four children. Thank you again,
Sylvia”

Hu died suddenly on 16th April aged 85. He was a devoted husband of Bea, a loving father to Grant and the late Moira, and father-in-law to Sharon and a full member of the wider family both north and south of the border.
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Hu Jones, devoted husband of our co-founder and chair, Bea, and beloved father of Moira and Grant.
Every one of Moira's Runs, all ten so far, has been a wonderful success and it's hard to find new words but I do have to say that this one, the eleventh, seemed even better than ever.
We are delighted to announce that thanks to John, Barry and Dianne, this year's annual Golf Day at Dullater Golf Course will take place on 31st August.
