A massive thanks to Colin and his wonderful colleagues at ASDA Lutterworth.
We were delighted this week to receive....
this amazing cheque thanks to bereaved dad, Colin[left] and his wonderful colleagues at ASDA Lutterworth.
In 2015, when 20 year-old Morgan, a much-loved son and brother, a talented artist and very popular hospital worker, was murdered, his family and the whole community was devastated. The Moira Fund provided some respite aid for his family and they have never forgotten. In all the difficult years since, many wonderful memorials to Morgan have been established, contact with the Moira Fund has been maintained and dad, Colin, with help from family andcolleagues has fundraised for us in many different ways.
We are so grateful.
We think that this letter from ASDA, telling of the efforts of Colin’s co-workers, in the midst of COVID, to support him and to support us says it all. Sometimes just “thank you” doesn’t seem to cover it.
Another busy stall at this year's fete with the sun shining, a great turn out and a team of willing helpers.
£350+raised. A great big thank you to them all.
At The Moira Fund, we’re acutely aware that for many victims’ families, the summer holidays can be an especially difficult time—often without the opportunity for a much-needed break.
Do you fancy an all-inclusive week for two in lovely Gran Canaria in 2026? It could be yours! This is the wonderful prize in this year’s TUI Holiday Prize Draw. Tickets £2 each, a book of 5 for £10.
It is with very mixed feelings that we have to say goodbye to Dianne and John Leslie, two of our long-time Trustees, Moira's very dear friends, and all-time magnificent supporters of Moira's charity.

Hu died suddenly on 16th April aged 85. He was a devoted husband of Bea, a loving father to Grant and the late Moira, and father-in-law to Sharon and a full member of the wider family both north and south of the border.
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Hu Jones, devoted husband of our co-founder and chair, Bea, and beloved father of Moira and Grant.
Every one of Moira's Runs, all ten so far, has been a wonderful success and it's hard to find new words but I do have to say that this one, the eleventh, seemed even better than ever.
We are delighted to announce that thanks to John, Barry and Dianne, this year's annual Golf Day at Dullater Golf Course will take place on 31st August.
