a house move for the family of a victim. Sadly, Hannah is one of those.
She was totally devastated by the cruel death of her one-year-old daughter and the terrible trauma of being a witness at the long trial which eventually followed. She had moved in with her grandparents and uncle but this didn’t work out as it was overcrowded and she desperately needed her own space. She has receiving counselling and support from the Homicide Service and now a flathas been made available to her too. She is currently looking for employment and is determined to make her wee place as homely as possible. She has little however, and so The Moira Fund has provided funding for decorating materials, curtains and new bedding to help her make a good start to the long journey ahead.
Another busy stall at this year's fete with the sun shining, a great turn out and a team of willing helpers.

Hu died suddenly on 16th April aged 85. He was a devoted husband of Bea, a loving father to Grant and the late Moira, and father-in-law to Sharon and a full member of the wider family both north and south of the border.
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Hu Jones, devoted husband of our co-founder and chair, Bea, and beloved father of Moira and Grant.
Every one of Moira's Runs, all ten so far, has been a wonderful success and it's hard to find new words but I do have to say that this one, the eleventh, seemed even better than ever.
We are delighted to announce that thanks to John, Barry and Dianne, this year's annual Golf Day at Dullater Golf Course will take place on 31st August.
