Every one of Moira’s Runs, all ten so far, has been a wonderful success and it’s hard to find new words but I do have to say that this one, the eleventh, seemed even better than ever.

WONDERFUL DONATION FROM PAISLEY SOUTH HOUSING ASSOCIATION.
On 27th January Carol Field one of the Trustees of The Moira Fund, was privileged to have visited Paisley South Housing Association to accept a cheque for £300 from the Director, Kathleen McCutcheon that had been very kindly donated to the Moira Fund.
The ladies from the association hold a 'women in housing networking event' each year to raise money for charity.
With some of the ladies having links to the South side of Glasgow and having taken part in the Moira run, they decided that they wanted the proceeds of their most recent event to go to the Moira Fund.
I was delighted to receive the cheque on behalf of the Moira Fund.

Lorn's Swim and Run Challenge

Lorn Pearson has set herself the most amazing challenge, one which begins on August 17th, which includes swimming in 3 lochs, Loch Lomond, Loch Morlich and Lock Tay, running the Glasgow Half-marathon and finishing with Moira's Run in Queen's Park, Glasgow, on 27th October.
