A letter from Jane
Shortly after Jane’s partner was murdered,

a flood from her bathroom resulted in a sodden and completely ruined settee. She had no chairs and there was nowhere to sit with her little boy. The Moira Fund sent vouchers to help with a replacement.

Really don’t know what to say, you don’t even know me and you have been so kind. Today was such a bad day and I kept my curtains closed because I felt like the sun was laughing at me. Then my HCW came and gave me your vouchers, I didn’t even know she had applied to you. I cried but these were different tears to the tears that have been falling down my face over the past few weeks. I asked her to open my curtains. It doesn’t feel enough just to say thank you but I don’t know what else to say. I will never forget your kindness at this time of horrendous pain.
