Every one of Moira’s Runs, all ten so far, has been a wonderful success and it’s hard to find new words but I do have to say that this one, the eleventh, seemed even better than ever.
News
Manchester Marathon
A huge “Well done!” and “Thank you” to friends Laura Coyle and Alexandra Wilson for successfully completing the Manchester Marathon yesterday.
This wonderful pair have become accustomed over the years to taking part in every 5k Moira’s Run in Queen’s Park, Glasgow, and decided to set themselves a bigger challenge, a huge challenge. They were determined, they took on a rigorous training programme, and it paid off. They have completed their first marathon. And not only have they run all these miles but also they have raised an amazing £1000+ for The Moira Fund with their efforts. This is wonderful. This will make a real difference to those desperately struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one to violence. We are hugely grateful. We thank all who supported and sponsored them. Thank you, Laura. Thank you, Alexandra.

Lorn's Swim and Run Challenge

Lorn Pearson has set herself the most amazing challenge, one which begins on August 17th, which includes swimming in 3 lochs, Loch Lomond, Loch Morlich and Lock Tay, running the Glasgow Half-marathon and finishing with Moira's Run in Queen's Park, Glasgow, on 27th October.
