Every one of Moira's Runs, all ten so far, has been a wonderful success and it's hard to find new words but I do have to say that this one, the eleventh, seemed even better than ever.

The Highland Fling – 53 miles trail race
Katie Smith and Kevin O’Donoghue are taking part in the Highland Fling, an amazing 53 miles trail race run through some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery.

Starting at Milngavie the route follows the West Highland Way, goes through Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National park to finish at Tyndrum. The route is almost entirely on trails and so the going can be hard with hands as well as feet being used in some places. Katy and Kevin, principal teachers in Greenock and Port Glasgow respectively, hope to involve many young people in their fund-raising effort but would certainly appreciate your help too. Lorn's Swim and Run Challenge

Lorn Pearson has set herself the most amazing challenge, one which begins on August 17th, which includes swimming in 3 lochs, Loch Lomond, Loch Morlich and Lock Tay, running the Glasgow Half-marathon and finishing with Moira's Run in Queen's Park, Glasgow, on 27th October.
