Glasgow Sky Ride 2010 What an amazing event this was! The team from the Ben Nevis, 20 determined cyclists, including one in a gorilla suit, a very resilient unicyclist and three rickshaws with two passengers in each, joined the many thousands of cyclists who completed the circuit in Central Glasgow. The Moira Fund Team, all resplendent in their white Moira Fund T-shirts, stood out from all around who were predominantly yellow-vested as they made their way from the SECC to Glasgow Green and back again and then to the Ben Nevis where a warm welcome awaited them thanks to the generous hospitality and support of Elaine and her wonderful staff. The enthusiasm of the whole team, from the very young to the very young-at-heart was just tremendous and we are very grateful to each and every one of them. Brilliant idea, Keiron! |
