Extra sparkle was added to the “bubbly” reception by the amazing Lucky Dip run by Team Ben. Before the delicious meal all were welcomed by Patron, Elaine C Smith and Dave Anderson, our MC, conducted The Prize Draw with its superb Thomson Holiday Prize. Elaine’s after dinner speech followed the emotional Moira Fund film and she set the tone for the rest of the night – she was witty and hilarious. The Grand Auction followed, fantastic prizes and fantastic bids. And then, the talented Floorstompers – the dancefloor was packed with movers and shakers. Meanwhile the Silent Auction with its wonderful array of superb lots attracted lots of attention and money. A great deal of money was raised. Watch this space for our final tally.
